Lt. Gen M K Katiyar, GOC-in-C, Western Command visited Amritsar sector

 

Amritsar:Lt. Gen M  K Katiyar, PVSM, AVSM, GOC-in-C, Western Command visited Amritsar . 

During the visit Lt. Gen. M K Katiyar also interacted with the BSF troops and appreciated the synergy between Army and BSF troops during the Operation Sindoor. Lt. Gen. Katiyar also stressed upon a coordinated BSF and Army training for OPS preparedness and augmentation of defences of the Border Outposts.

GOC-in-C further appreciated the steadfastness, resolve and performance of BSF Mahila Praharis deployed at the Border Outpost during the operation Sindoor.
