Kochi:US Navy Ship USSCanberra was on a goodwill visit to Kochi from 07 to 08 May 2025

 Commander Bill Golden, the Commanding Officer called on Commodore Sritanu Guru, Cmde (Training), Southern Naval Command SNC and discussed issues of maritime interest. 

Cross deck visits were conducted between IndianNavy & USNavy personnel enhancing mutual understanding, collaboration and camaraderie. 

The extant visit of US ship strengthens bilateral defence ties between #India and USA.
