Women from Kashmir break barriers to work at Tata Wistron


Baramulla:
As many as eight young women belonging to Kashmir scripted a new  success story  by working at the Tata Wistron near Bengaluru.
Hailing from Baramulla near Line of Control, their journey from a land steeped in tradition to the dynamic world of a global corporation is nothing short of inspiring. These accomplished individuals now stand as living embodiments of what can be achieved when opportunity meets talent.
The achievement was a result of relentless efforts of the Chinar Yuva Centre, Baramulla, in collaboration with Aseem Foundation and Needs Manpower Pvt. Ltd of Bengaluru. 
The endeavor was generously underwritten by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of ONGC, whose unwavering commitment to fostering talent in underrepresented regions deserves the highest accolades. Together, these institutions have created an ecosystem that nurtures potential, enriches communities, and ignites hope.
Expressing  immense happiness and pride in their achievement, one of the newly recruited employees said, the  opportunity had changed their  lives. We are now able to support our families and stand on our own feet. It’s a dream come true,” she said
Their new journey in Bangalore had received overwhelming support from the local community. The management at Tata Wistron commended the women for their commitment and work ethic, emphasising how such diversity enriches the workplace. 
The young women’s success—it is a beacon of hope for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly young women, who are often constrained by societal expectations and limited opportunities. Their determination and success reflect the resilience and untapped potential within the region.
